Academic year has begun: start a new life or fail attempt again?

In the start of a new university year, all events should occur in a new way, start with the clean slate, so to speak. This stereotype refers not only to personal life, friends and rest, also to education. As always, smiling, happy, full of power and energy, students came to learn new disciplines, get acquainted with new laboratories and discover the curiosity of the future profession.

During somebody promise to start learning for themselves, someone is persistently continuing to develop their abilities. With the beginning of the new semester, all departments and all the specialties of native alma mater come to life. Educational-scientific institutes and faculties are interested in students with new techniques and exciting subjects and tasks.

What could be better than returning to places where you are loved and waited? These friends’ eyes in the dorm, an evening watching movies and city walks are forever in the heart. After all, to say the truth, the student’s years are the best years and the fine thread that runs from childhood to adult life. The period when parents look after us is over, now deans, directors of institutes, curators and educators in dormitories worry about us. They are required to go to each room or spend their educational hours. So nice when you worried run to a business thing, and a teacher stops you and ask about your affairs, life, study, offers, needs, help. At such moments it is felt that you are not alone, there is always one who can listen.

I do not even know who’s harder: first-year students or graduates. The senior students believe that the first session is the hardest. You will overcome this barrier, and then it’s much easier. Indeed, after four years of study, I can safely confirm this. And every year it becomes harder to learn, although at the same time, and much more interesting because of plunge into the world of new technologies of their own profession – a wonderful thing.

Literary’ experiment

There are many different types of assignments set at university: research essay, literature review, annotated bibliography, reflective journal, analytical review, projects, reports. The tasks that a student must perform every year are also becoming more and more difficult. I am hearing more frequently from my friend that they use paper wring services. And I decided to check how far paying for writing literary reviews is justified.

The teacher introduced us to the plan for the semester. The plan indicated that it was necessary to write a literature review. I decided to write it myself, and the other 5 my friends gave it for writing to different sites. And that’s what came out of it.

I selected the following sites:

  1. https://www.assignmentclub.co.uk/
  2. https://www.assignmenthelperuk.co.uk/
  3. https://www.assignmentdone.co.uk/
  4. https://www.assignmentdoer.co.uk/

A literature review is an obligatory part of any research work. The review analyzes the existing points of view on the issue in the diploma (dissertation, coursework). The author’s task is to study the views of various scholars and find the place of their work among them, to discover its uniqueness. A literary review can be made differently. For example, several paragraphs in the introduction may be assigned to it. In other cases, it is issued as a separate chapter. It all depends on the requirements of the particular institution and the teacher.

You need:

  • – Literary sources on the topic of your research work;
  • – Internet;
  • – computer;

Instruction

See the maximum amount of literature on the subject, which you are going to write about. To do this, visit the library. It is best to use the original editions.

Try to avoid using e-books. They can be scanned without compulsory illustrations and charts.

After studying each source, make small notes in which you will outline the main ideas of the book you’ve read. You can create a special notebook, which you will use in the course of studying literature, write quotes and the thesis necessary for your work.

Get started with a literary review. It can go in several stages. First, make the order in which the literature sources in your scientific work should be presented. It depends on the logic in which your own reflections on the chosen topic develop.

Take as a basis the chronological principle and start learning the history of the issue in chronological order. Describe what views on the challenges existed before, how they evolved. What are the main representatives of scientific thought, what they achieved in their research?

Analyze the work of predecessors critically. Specify the weaknesses in their works. Write which questions have not been studied. Be sure to provide the reasons why the authors did not consider this or that aspect of the question. Perhaps the reason was the lack of the necessary equipment (until the time of research it could not simply exist). This way, you will be able to determine the place of your research within this issue.

Briefly describe the research tasks that researchers have set themselves. How much they succeeded or failed to achieve the desired results. Do not hurry to present your vision to a question in a literary review. State the reasons why you decided to continue research on this topic. To formulate your tasks and describe ways to achieve them will be in the following parts of your research work.

Write a literary review throughout your work on a diploma (dissertation). It will make it easier for you to adjust, supplement and make changes at the final stage.

Pay attention.

Follow the correct tone, do not allow yourself to be disrespectful about someone from your predecessors. Still, they are your predecessors and same as teachers.

Tips.

Do not make the literary review too voluminous. Focus on the overall amount of future scientific work. A literature review should not exceed 50-100 pages (for a dissertation).  Speak with the teacher.
